Pressure Sensors

Pressure Sensors works producing a strain gauge output as the deflection of a diaphragm is caused. Depending on the strain gauge technology the output can vary from 1 to 3 milli volts per volt (mV/V) to as much as 10 to 30 mV/V. The sensors convert the pressure into an electrical signal that can be transmitted and displayed. This is why many sensors are referred to as transmitters. Those terms are pressure sensors, pressure transducers, and pressure transmitters. Pressure Sensors are transducer that converts an input mechanical pressure into an electrical output signal, also known as Pressure Transducers.
